Lyndhurst Secondary College has partnered with Hands on Learning (HoL) from 2023 onwards!
Hands on Learning is a Save the Children practical school program that builds wellbeing, engagement and attendance by creating opportunities for students to discover their talents and experience success through significant and authentic hands-on projects. Students will work with the artisan teachers to decide on practical projects to run at the school based on their interests and the needs of the school.
Students can either self-nominate or be nominated by their Sub School to participate in the Hands on Learning Program. In 2023, the HoL program runs on a Wednesday with students attending their regular classes the other days of the week.
