Our location on the South Gippsland Highway means that our students have access to a number of public buses that run to stops on both sides of the highway.

Lyndhurst Secondary College is also a short distance walk from Merinda Park Train Station.
We encourage students where possible to engage in an active lifestyle and walk or ride to school. The college has three access points for students when walking or riding to school. Gates are located at the following locations:
- Gate 2 – located at the front of the school via our South Gippsland Highway entry
- Gate 6 – located on Wentworth Street
- Gate 10 – located on the boundary the college shares with Bass Ct Reserve (this is the closest entry for students walking from Merinda Park Station)
Lyndhurst Secondary College has a secured bike shed available for all students who wish to ride to school. Students will need to provide their own chain and lock to ensure the security of their bike.
