Delivery and Cost Details
This course enables the learner to develop the knowledge and skills to participate in a variety of dance routine roles. It provides the fundamental skills in a number of specialised dance disciplines. It also aims to provide young people with the technical and performance skills, knowledge and attitude to begin the process of establishing a career in the entertainment industry.

This course is delivered at Dandenong High School on Wednesdays 9am-3.30pm. At the time of publication, next years VETiS materials charges have not been determined. A materials fee of $315 for 1st year students and $180 for 2nd year students will be required to be paid on course counselling day. Once materials fees are known, parents will either be reimbursed if overcharged or invoiced for outstanding fees.
Possible Career-further study pathways
Possible employment outcomes include Community Dance Worker, Dance Teacher, Dance Therapist, Dancer, Choreographer, Professional Dancer.
Also provides a pathway to Certificate III in Dance, various diplomas and advanced diplomas and various university degrees.
Work placement requirements
40 hours is highly recommended but not mandatory

For VCE students, a study score is available (allowing students to count this subject in their primary four subjects for the purposes of ATAR calculation)
