This course is offered at Chisholm Dandenong, Berwick and Frankston on Wednesdays and Chisholm Frankston on Fridays 9:00am – 3:00pm and
Kooweerup Secondary College on Wednesdays (transport provided)
Possible Career/Further Study Pathways
Completion of this course may lead to further study at TAFE or other tertiary institutes. Possible employment pathways include: Beautician, Beauty Therapist, Nail Technician or Retail Cosmetic Consultant.
Work Placement Requirements
Determined in consultation with teacher & the RTO.
Special comments about delivery of the program
Students will undertake studies in waxing, manicure and pedicure, make-up and business, communications, retail, spray tanning and nail enhancement.
For VCE students, this program does not have a study score but does count as a 3/4 sequence, and students will be eligible to gain an ATAR increment. (10% of the lowest study score of the primary four studies) Please note that this course cannot be counted in the student’s primary four studies for ATAR calculation
Dress requirements must be followed. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes, black dress pants and uniform provided by Chisholm.
Please note in 2020, this course was extremely popular so early enrolments and payments of material costs is advised.
