Overview
Lyndhurst Secondary College is a co-educational school located in the northern area of Cranbourne. It is in the midst of the rapidly expanding south east growth corridor. It has been established for over 20 years and currently has enrolments of over 1000 students. It is situated on the South Gippsland Highway. Buses from Dandenong and Hampton Park stop at the front of the school. The Merinda Park train station also provides efficient transport for students.The College aims to:

Lyndhurst believes in maintaining a co-operative and supportive learning environment and to this end an
effective sub-school structure is in place with:

A broad based Year 7, 8 & 9 foundation program across the eight Key Learning Areas.

A core teacher program at Year 7, 8 & 9 which supports students in the development of positive
relationships between them and the school.

A Year 10 course which includes CORE and elective subjects.

In preparation for tertiary studies or the world of work our students have the opportunity to
participate in VET, VCAL and a traditional VCE.
