Cranbourne Home Winners Announced
Lyndhurst Secondary College and Cranbourne Home joined forces to bring the community together through art. An opportunity was identified at Cranbourne Home using hanging banners and poster wall frames ; Lyndhurst Secondary College students were invited to submit a piece of artwork that reflected their Community – City of Casey.
Cranbourne Home asked the public to ‘like your favourite design’ using the Cranbourne Home Facebook page. Finalists work was published online in May and judging commenced to find the top 10 images with the most likes.
Thank you to everyone that participated and voted, there was an overwhelming response.
Principal at Lyndhurst Secondary College, Konnie Prades said it is an exciting time for Lyndhurst Secondary College students, working with the wider community on art projects to enhance students’ experiences and promote the College as a vibrant, positive and exciting place to learn.
Congratulations to all students for such an amazing effort.
The top ten designs are:
1st place Bonn 16, receive a $200 Officeworks Voucher
2nd place Toni-Leigh 14, receives a $100 Officeworks Voucher
3rd Place Amber 14, receives a $100 Officeworks Voucher
4th Destiny 15, receives a $100 Officeworks Voucher
5th to 10th place receives a $50 Bargain Depot Voucher
The school also receives two foam pillows from Regal Sleep Solutions which can be used as a prize.
The students designs are currently on display on hanging banners and poster wall frames throughout the Cranbourne Home Centre.
A special thank you to Jenny Birt, Retail Marketing Manager at Cranbourne Home and Cranbourne Home for giving Lyndhurst Secondary College students the chance to display their artwork, and to teachers Angela Green and Georgina Gaitanis for encouraging and mentoring our young artists at the College in yet another amazing opportunity to show off their talents.
