It was a pleasure to welcome Jenny Birt, Marketing Manager and Janet Reading, Centre Manager of Cranbourne Home to Lyndhurst Secondary College’s Assembly on Monday 14th of August to present student prizes from the centre retailers.
Lyndhurst Secondary College takes great pride in supporting local community initiatives and when Cranbourne Home approached the College with a Community Art Competition, we accepted enthusiastically.
Lyndhurst Secondary College students were invited to submit a piece of artwork that reflected their Community – City of Casey in a bid to win votes and appear on one of Cranbourne Home’s prestigious hanging banners and poster wall frames.
Cranbourne Home asked the public to ‘like your favourite design’ using their Facebook page. Finalists’ work was published online and judging commenced to find the top 10 images with the most likes.
Thank you to everyone that participated and voted; there was an overwhelming response.
The principal of Lyndhurst Secondary College, Konnie Prades, said it is an exciting time for the College. “We are working hard to enhance the connections the College has with local community groups and to seize these fantastic opportunities to enhance students’ experiences.
