Materials Charges and timetabling information for this course are TBC. In 2018, this course was offered at Chisholm Frankston on Wednesdays from 1pm-5pm. In 2019, this course will be offered at Frankston and Berwick Chisholm. Due to timetabling this course is best suited to students enrolled in VCAL.

At the time of publication, 2019 VETiS Materials Charges have not been determined. A materials fee of $170 for 1st year and $85 for 2nd year will be required to be paid on course counselling day. Once materials fees are known, parents will either be reimbursed if overcharged or invoiced for outstanding fees.

Possible Career/Further Study Pathways

Completion of this course may lead to further study at TAFE or other tertiary institutes. Possible employment pathways include: Computer Assembly/Repair Sales, Help Desk.

Work Placement Requirements

Determined in consultation with teacher & the RTO.

Special comments about delivery of the program

Students will undertake studies in hands on building, maintaining and trouble shooting of basic PC assembly and repair. This course is designed as a lead in to the VCE/VET CISCO course.

For VCE students, this program contributes at Year 11 only. There is no contribution to Year 12 or the ATAR.
