Materials Charges and timetabling information for this course are TBC. Next year, this course will be offered at Frankston and Berwick Chisholm. 

At the time of publication, VETiS Materials Charges have not been determined. A materials fee of $195 for 1st year and $284 for 2nd year will be required to be paid on course counselling day. Once materials fees are known, parents will either be reimbursed if overcharged or invoiced for outstanding fees.

Possible Career/Further Study Pathways

Completion of this course may lead to further study at TAFE or other tertiary institutes. Possible employment pathways include: Computer Assembly/Repair Sales, Help Desk.

Work Placement Requirements

Recommended but not mandatory.

Equipment required: 1 TB portable hard drive, neat dress including covered shoes, USB stick min. 16GB (back up), pen and paper.

Special comments about delivery of the program

Students will undertake studies in hands on building, maintaining and trouble shooting of basic PC assembly and repair. This course is designed as a lead in to the VCE/VET CISCO course.

For VCE students, this program contributes at Year 11 only. There is no contribution to Year 12 or the ATAR.
