Community Performances Shine

On Friday 28th June, 22 students participated in a series of thrilling performances at Cranbourne Home Shopping centre.

Lyndhurst Secondary College has been visiting local shopping centres over the past few years to share their work with the local community but Friday was a day like no other.

Many visitors from across Australia were visiting Cranbourne Home as part of an annual conference laid on by the centres management company. Lyndhurst students were invited to come and perform on the morning that the delegates were passing through.

Students sang and performed dances in groups and on their own.

The Choirs final performance was fantastic and at that precise moment when the CEO of the management company stood and watched, commented on how great our students were, was the perfect end to the morning!

The performances took place outside Laporchetta restaurant and the Manager of the establishment extended the positive feedback by saying students were welcome to come back and perform any time!

This was an amazing end to Term 2 and true acknowledgment to all the student’s hard work in perfecting their performances for the special day. Well done everyone, and thank you to Jenny and her team at Cranbourne Home for the opportunity.
