First year classes will be offered at Alkira SC and Cranbourne SC each Wednesday.

Materials Charges vary depending on provider.

At the time of publication, 2019 VETiS Materials Charges have not been determined. On course counselling day, a materials fee of $835 + Individuals books, uniform & knives will  be required to be paid for 1st year students and $540 for 2nd year student. Once materials fees are known, parents will either be reimbursed if overcharged or invoiced for outstanding fees.

Possible Career/Further Study Pathways

Includes potential entry to range of areas including food and beverage, front office, housekeeping and commercial cookery. Can lead to Certificate IV in Hospitality or Diploma of Hospitality Management after completion of Year 12.

Work Placement Requirements

Students may be expected to complete 10 days placement per year in each of kitchen duties.

Special comments about delivery of the program

Strict uniform code applies both years.

For VCE students, a study score is available (allowing students to count this subject in their primary four subjects for the purposes of ATAR calculation).

This course is best suited for students not wishing to work front of house.
