An enthusiastic and inspiring group of year 12 students from Lyndhurst Secondary College will be running the Casey 2017 Relay for Life. The students will run the relay from 5:45pm on Friday 3rd March to 6:00pm on Saturday 4th March at Akoonah Park, Berwick. Their aim is to raise funds for the Cancer Council Charity and create awareness within the community.
A fellow year 12 student very sadly passed away over the summer break prompting Casey Olierook to enrol in the event which quickly snowballed into an amazing team of girls.
Team Captain Casey Olierook, is joined by Khalia Chellew, Grace Tyshing, Maddy Bass, Breeanna Ormrod, Charli Miles, Michaela Rozairo and Jocelyn White to form part of Team CKBGJMC
The actions of these students demonstrate values of commitment, excellence and integrity and we are proud that they are showing admiral respect for themselves and others by giving up their time and energy to devote to such a worthwhile cause.
