Cranbourne Home prize giving
It was a pleasure to welcome Claudia Presta, Marketing Manager and Oliver Misso, Centre Manager of Cranbourne Home to Lyndhurst Secondary College’s Assembly on Monday August 20th, to present student prizes from the centre retailers.
The College takes great pride in supporting local community initiatives and when Cranbourne Home approached us with a Community Art Competition for the second year running, we accepted enthusiastically.
Lyndhurst Secondary College students were invited to submit a piece of artwork that reflected their Community – City of Casey in winter in a bid to win votes on facebook and appear on one of Cranbourne Home’s prestigious hanging banners and poster wall frames.
Top 10 Student artwork is now on display at Cranbourne Home and all students who entered the competition receive prizes for their efforts. 1st place, $200 Office works gift card, 2nd-3rd $100 and all other entrants, $50 which is amazing considering there were 25 pieces this year.
Thank you to everyone that participated and voted; there was an overwhelming response. A Special Thank you to Cranbourne Home for the opportunity to show case our talented students work. Konnie Prades, Principal, said “We are continuing to enhance student connections and experiences with local community groups and it is events like this that showcase Lyndhurst Secondary College as a vibrant, positive and inspiring place to learn.”
